It fixes to a vertical wall or structure through two brackets, and the mast lifts out of the brackets when not needed and drops back in for use. It breaks down into two components for transport and assembles without tools. Made from high strength aluminium alloy and supplied with two mounts, the davit weighs around 44.4kg with a 10kg wall base, and is rated to 500kg for confined space rescue and 250kg for material lifting.
