It runs along a steel cable of 20 to 60mm at inclinations up to 50 degrees either way, with a double gate opening for extra security and a balanced, lightweight body that can be handled one handed. The upper attachment lets the pulley slide the cable without the rescue rope interfering, and it can be lowered along the cable or used as a lower anchor or winch point. It is made from aluminium, polyamide and stainless steel and is certified to EN 12278, EN 1909 and EN 795 Type B.
