The two legs give continuous 100 percent tie off between anchors, and it is fitted with steel H1 hooks. An energy absorbing lanyard connects a full body harness to an anchor point. In a fall the tear web energy absorber tears open in a controlled way to limit the shock loading passed to the body, which is what makes it a fall arrest lanyard rather than a plain restraint strap. It is built for personal fall arrest use in a full body harness under AS\/NZS 1891.1. Inspect it before every use and have it inspected by a competent height safety inspector at least every six months.
