It is rated for a user mass up to 140kg and uses a square alloy adjuster so you can shorten the rope to take up slack and reduce the potential fall distance, with lightweight aluminium connectors. An energy absorbing lanyard connects a full body harness to an anchor point. In a fall the tear web energy absorber tears open in a controlled way to limit the shock loading passed to the body, which is what makes it a fall arrest lanyard rather than a plain restraint strap. Choose the single leg with aluminium H1 hooks, the single leg with an aluminium K10 triple action karabiner, or the twin leg version for continuous 100 percent tie off between anchors. It is built for personal fall arrest use in a full body harness under AS\/NZS 1891.1. Inspect it before every use and have it inspected by a competent height safety inspector at least every six months.
