The worker clips the harness to the rope adjuster, which slides freely up the line and locks under a fall, while the shock absorber limits the arrest force. It is offered from a short 2m up to a 40m line to suit the working height. Rig the top end to an anchor rated for fall arrest and keep the adjuster above you as you work. It is built for personal fall arrest use in a full body harness under AS\/NZS 1891.1. Inspect it before every use and have it inspected by a competent height safety inspector at least every six months.
