It has an integral hoisting facility so a casualty can be lifted slightly to release their weight from fall arrest equipment before being lowered. This is the descent device on its own, offered in 50, 100 and 150 metre lengths to build into a rescue or evacuation set-up. It is certified to EN 341 Class A, with the Gotcha CRD range rated to a 140kg single or 225kg two person capacity.
