It is built in two device options: the IK versions use the classic IKAR CRD device, and the RPX versions use the newer Red Pro X device with a top mounted swivel and higher tested capacity. The pole and frog versions add a telescopic reach pole and the Gotcha Frog so a rescuer can attach to a casualty from a distance. It is certified to EN 341 Class A and EN 1496, with the range rated to a 140kg single or 225kg two person capacity. IKAR lengths run 50 to 150 metres and RPX lengths run 50 to 150 metres.
