You keep one leg attached to the next anchor before releasing the other, which gives continuous 100 percent tie off. An energy absorbing lanyard connects a full body harness to an anchor point. In a fall the tear web energy absorber tears open in a controlled way to limit the shock loading passed to the body, which is what makes it a fall arrest lanyard rather than a plain restraint strap. Choose steel H1 hooks, steel H1 and H3 scaffold hooks for scaffold work, or the ERGOPLUS 140kg version with lightweight aluminium hooks and iWeb webbing. It is built for personal fall arrest use in a full body harness under AS\/NZS 1891.1.
