Work Positioning Lanyards

Work positioning lanyards and pole straps support a worker in a stable position on poles, towers, columns and other structures, allowing both hands to remain free for the task. They connect to the positioning attachment points on a suitable safety harness. Choose from adjustable rope lanyards and webbing pole straps from Skylotec, Ferno, KStrong, SpanSet and B-Safe, with different lengths, connectors and protective sleeves available.

Work positioning and fall arrest lanyards have different functions. Fall arrest options include single tail lanyards for connection to one anchor point, twin tail lanyards for moving between anchor points while remaining connected, and retracting lanyards that extend and retract with the worker and automatically take up slack. For rope-based systems, rope fall arrest devices and rope grabs run on a compatible lifeline and lock onto the rope if a fall occurs.
