Work positioning lanyards and pole straps are designed to support a worker in a stable working position while carrying out tasks at height. They are commonly used on poles, towers, columns and other structures where the worker needs support while keeping both hands free.
The collection includes adjustable rope lanyards and webbing pole straps from Skylotec, Ferno, KStrong, SpanSet and B-Safe, with different lengths, connectors and protective sleeves available across the range. Adjustable models allow the working length to be changed as the worker moves, while protective sleeves help reduce wear where the rope or strap contacts the structure.
Work positioning and fall arrest are different functions. Positioning lanyards and pole straps are designed to support or restrain the worker in position, while fall arrest lanyards are a separate category designed to arrest a fall.
