Ferno Hot Work Flame Retardant Lanyard
The Ferno flame retardant lanyard is made in Australia from flame retardant and cut resistant aramid webbing, so it can stand up to the sparks, heat and slag of hot work where a standard polyester lanyard would be at risk. It is the ideal tether to run with the Ferno Hot Works full body harness and other hot work harnesses.
The energy absorber is held in a flame resistant Indura pouch, which protects the part of the lanyard that does the work of arresting a fall. That makes it best suited to welding, grinding and oxy flame cutting, giving a comfortable fit and peace of mind in a job that is hard on equipment. Choose a single leg or twin leg version with the hooks to match your set up. It is certified to AS 1891.5:2020. Why use a flame retardant lanyard?
Hot work throws off sparks, heat and slag that can damage a standard polyester lanyard. This lanyard is made from flame retardant, cut resistant aramid webbing and keeps the absorber in a flame resistant Indura pouch, so it stands up to welding, grinding and oxy flame cutting.
What harness should I use it with?
It is designed to run with the Ferno Hot Works full body harness and other hot work harnesses, so the whole system is rated for the same hot work conditions.
What versions are available?
There is a single leg 2m version with a double action hook, a single leg 2m with a triple lock karabiner and double action hook, and a twin leg 1.8m with a triple lock karabiner and double action scaffold hooks.

DISPATCH & DELIVERY TIMES
Most orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days, though during busy periods or in the event of unexpected delays, please allow up to 5 business days for dispatch.
Orders are sent either from our warehouse in Sydney or directly from our suppliers warehouses in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. Delivery times will vary based on your location, but we always aim to get your products to you as quickly as possible.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
Occasionally an item in your order may be out of stock. If this happens, weāll confirm the expected restock date with our supplier and contact you promptly. You can choose either to request a full refund or place the item on backorder and receive it as soon as itās back in stock.
URGENT ORDERS - Same Day Dispatch
If you need your order urgently, please get in touch. For a small admin fee, we can arrange same-day or next-day dispatch.
WAREHOUSE PICKUP
Some products are available for direct pickup from our warehouse or our suppliers' warehouses (located in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth). Please contact us to confirm stock availability and arrange your pickup.
DELIVERY ADDRESS
Please provide a street address where you or an authorised person will be available to receive your parcel during normal business hours. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
DELIVERY COSTS
- Orders over $500 receive free delivery (excluding large bulky items or very remote locations)
- Orders under $500 incur a flat-rate delivery fee of $25 (+GST)
- Small orders under $150 are also subject to a $15 (+GST) small order surcharge
DELIVERY DAMAGE
Please inspect your package upon arrival. If you notice any damage, be sure to note it when signing for delivery. If your item arrives damaged, please email photos toĀ returns@heightsafetycentral.com.auĀ and we will process a claim with the supplier or courier.
Cancellations & Refunds
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
We generally do not accept cancellations or returns due to change of mind. Please contact us before ordering if you have any questions or concerns regarding the suitability of a product. If you have ordered the wrong item and it is still in brand-new condition, we may, at our discretion, accept a return. A restocking fee (usually 15-20%) will apply, and you will be responsible for returning the item to our warehouse or the supplierās warehouse.
ORDERED-IN PRODUCTS / CUSTOM MADE ITEMS
It is not possible to cancel an order for an item which has been specifically ordered-in for you or to refund / cancel an order for a custom made item. There are no exceptions to this.Ā
WARRANTY CLAIM / DEFECTIVE PRODUCTSĀ
While rare, if a product youāve purchased develops a fault, please email info@heightsafetycentral.com.au with a detailed description and photos (if possible). We will work with the supplier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If the supplier accepts the warranty claim, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.
