Kask Earmuffs provide hearing protection for safety helmets and suit construction, forestry, industrial work, racing and airport ground operations. They come in three colour coded versions to match different noise levels. Green SC1 is for low to medium noise, yellow SC2 for medium to high noise such as construction, forestry and production areas, and orange SC3 for high noise such as airports, car racing and pneumatic tools. On a Zenith X, KASK publish SNR 25 dB for the SC1, 29 dB for the SC2 and 31 dB for the SC3, with NRR figures of 22 dB, 24 dB and 27 dB. The standard 30mm slot fits all Kask helmets, including the Zenith X, Zenith X Air and HP Plus, plus many other helmets.
KASK certify all three to EN 352-3, ANSI S3.19 and CSA Z94.2-02, with the SC1 in CSA class B and the SC2 and SC3 in class A. They weigh 280g, 320g and 350g. Ear cups and spacer are ABS thermoplastic with a polyether foam liner, and the build is lightweight and non conductive with cushioned earpads and balanced clamping force for long wear. An earmuff adapter is required for the HP and HP Plus helmets, but not for the Zenith or Zenith Air. Pair them with the Kask Zenith X Air or Kask HP Plus helmet, or browse all safety helmets.

What is the difference between SC1, SC2 and SC3?
They are three colour coded levels for rising noise. Green SC1 suits low to medium noise, yellow SC2 medium to high noise such as construction, forestry and production areas, and orange SC3 high noise such as airports, car racing and pneumatic tools. On a Zenith X they give SNR 25 dB, 29 dB and 31 dB respectively.
Do they fit the HP Plus helmet?
Yes, but the HP and HP Plus need an earmuff adapter, which is ordered separately. The Zenith and Zenith Air do not need an adapter, and the standard 30mm slot fits many other helmets too.
Are they comfortable for all day wear?
Kask designs them with cushioned earpads and balanced clamping force for long wear, and they are lightweight, non conductive and easy to adjust for size.
Are they certified to the Australian hearing standard?
No. KASK certify the SC range to EN 352-3, ANSI S3.19 and CSA Z94.2-02. If your site requires an AS/NZS 1270:2002 Class 5 earmuff for a KASK helmet, contact us and we will supply the compatible Australian certified option.

DISPATCH & DELIVERY TIMES
Most orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days, though during busy periods or in the event of unexpected delays, please allow up to 5 business days for dispatch.
Orders are sent either from our warehouse in Sydney or directly from our suppliers warehouses in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. Delivery times will vary based on your location, but we always aim to get your products to you as quickly as possible.
Youāll receive tracking details via email once your order has been dispatched.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
Occasionally an item in your order may be out of stock. If this happens, weāll confirm the expected restock date with our supplier and contact you promptly. You can choose either to request a full refund or place the item on backorder and receive it as soon as itās back in stock.
URGENT ORDERS - Same Day Dispatch
If you need your order urgently, please get in touch. For a small admin fee, we can arrange same-day or next-day dispatch.
WAREHOUSE PICKUP
Some products are available for direct pickup from our warehouse or our suppliers' warehouses (located in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth). Please contact us to confirm stock availability and arrange your pickup.
DELIVERY ADDRESS
Please provide a street address where you or an authorised person will be available to receive your parcel during normal business hours. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
DELIVERY COSTS
- Orders over $500 receive free delivery (excluding large bulky items or very remote locations)
- Orders under $500 incur a flat-rate delivery fee of $25 (+GST)
- Small orders under $150 are also subject to a $15 (+GST) small order surcharge
DELIVERY DAMAGE
Please inspect your package upon arrival. If you notice any damage, be sure to note it when signing for delivery. If your item arrives damaged, please email photos toĀ returns@heightsafetycentral.com.auĀ and we will process a claim with the supplier or courier.
Cancellations & Refunds
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
We generally do not accept cancellations or returns due to change of mind. Please contact us before ordering if you have any questions or concerns regarding the suitability of a product. If you have ordered the wrong item and it is still in brand-new condition, we may, at our discretion, accept a return. A restocking fee (usually 15-20%) will apply, and you will be responsible for returning the item to our warehouse or the supplierās warehouse.
ORDERED-IN PRODUCTS / CUSTOM MADE ITEMS
It is not possible to cancel an order for an item which has been specifically ordered-in for you or to refund / cancel an order for a custom made item. There are no exceptions to this.Ā
WARRANTY CLAIM / DEFECTIVE PRODUCTSĀ
While rare, if a product youāve purchased develops a fault, please email info@heightsafetycentral.com.au with a detailed description and photos (if possible). We will work with the supplier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If the supplier accepts the warranty claim, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.
